Mini Pilot Practice

With assessments around the corner, we felt it would be the perfect time to get ourselves some practice time in the radio studio. Any time spent in the studio is invaluable to my progress and understanding of the radio industry as a whole - but not just that, I also love spending time in there!

Our upcoming assessment is a 30-minute show based on various different UK cities - focussing on Manchester specifically for this 'episode'. We will take a deep-dive look into everything Manchester: dialect, sports, music, celebrities and food will all be dissected under the radio microphone.

I will be co-presenting alongside Lucy, as well as writing the script to work out the timings, features and what audio will be used. I've practised presenting a few times in class now and absolutely love doing it - presenting live gives such a thrill and reminds me why I love doing this course!
