ALL ABOUT ME
Having always had a fervent interest in how TV and radio is made, I always knew that this is the industry that I want to work in. Being an aspiring radio presenter, I am involved in various different radio productions through University, and want to continue this work into a professional environment. Equally, I relish working on TV sets for the high-intensity atmosphere, as well as being part of a team all working towards a common goal.

Teamwork is second-nature to me, having worked at McDonald's since 2018 and working my way up to becoming a floor manager, achieving employee of the month on the way. I consistently ensure that targets are not only met, but exceeded. Working as a floor manager has given me plenty of skills and qualities that can be transferred to my media career: team working, communication, organization, cash-handling, working with customers, legal safety checks, and cash-handling. My time at McDonald's has been invaluable in contributing to my growth as a person and a professional.

My obsession for radio in particular ties in with my love of music: I'm constantly attending gigs and multiple festivals over summer, always discovering artists and new music to listen to. Presenting, producing and listening to radio allows me to explore my love of music and encourages me to continue pursuing a career in the industry. Because of this, I co-present and produce a weekly radio show on Shock Radio, called Three's Not a Crowd. We offer our opinions on people's problems, talk about pop-culture and give advice and tips on uni life. Often I will be in charge of the board - controlling levels and uploading the running order of the show.
